I'm often asked...
Fast-paced and efficient designer who enjoys working productively while maintaining strong attention to detail. I value collaboration and always welcome feedback, approaching it with patience and an open mind to continuously improve my work. I also have a strong curiosity for learning new things, which helps me grow as a designer and adapt to new ideas, tools, and creative challenges.
I enjoy the full journey of the design process, from the initial idea to the final outcome, and seeing a project evolve from imagination into a finished piece. One of the most rewarding parts of being a designer for me is the problem-solving involved in creating something meaningful and effective. I also enjoy challenging myself by working with different media, platforms, and software, as it allows me to keep learning and developing new skills while exploring different creative possibilities.
I work with a range of industry-standard design programmes, primarily using the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, to create a variety of digital and print design work. I also use Figma for website and email design, allowing me to develop clean and functional layouts for digital platforms. In addition, I have experience using Canva, which supports quick and accessible design creation when needed.
You’d be surprised how often I’m asked about the weather in Wales. While it’s true that it tends to rain a little more than we might like during the winter months, it’s all part of what keeps the country so beautifully green and full of life. Despite the occasional downpour, Wales remains an incredibly historic and scenic place to live, with landscapes that make the weather well worth it. As someone who is Welsh, I’m very proud to call it home
From a young age, I was fascinated by redesigning and experimenting with visual layouts—redrawing book covers, creating my own versions, and reworking existing designs. I was always intrigued by how information could be arranged on a page or screen to be both visually engaging and easy to understand. Looking back, it feels like I was naturally on the path to becoming a designer, guided by a curiosity for how design can communicate and delight at the same time.
